Information for IT Professionals fan page users

Pursuant to Article 13 and 14 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the European Union L. of 2016, No. 119, page 1) – hereinafter the GDPR, we inform that:

The Controller of your personal data is IT Professionals Sp. z o.o., National Register of Employment Agencies no.: 21150, with its registered seat in Warsaw (00-838) at ul. Prosta 51. Your personal data are processed in order to communicate within the fan page of the Controller available at https://www.facebook.com/itprofessionals.recruitment, in particular in order to be able to respond to reactions, comments and private messages, as well as for statistical and advertising purposes performed via tools delivered by facebook.pl. The processing is performed based on a legitimate interest of the Controller, i.e. ensuring continuity of business communication, marketing of own products, caring about brand’s image and gathering inquiries in connection with the services offered by the Controller.  

Via our fan page, we collect and process the following types of personal data:

  • Facebook ID (usually containing name and surname which is not verified by me in any way in order to confirm accuracy of data which have been provided by you voluntarily during account/profile creation);
  • basic identification data within the scope published by you on your own Facebook profile;
  • other data within the scope published by you on your own Facebook profile;
  • profile photo (thanks to it, in some cases we will be able to recognize your image);
  • other photos (which may also present image) resulting from fan page-user relation;
  • the content of your comments and conversation conducted via Messenger (thanks to that, we will be able to find out your e-mail address, phone number and description that was included in connection with circumstances of our correspondence);

Placing pictures under my posts is voluntary on your part. However, we reserve the right to delete entries if we find them inappropriate, offensive or inciting to hatred.

The recipients of your personal data will be the entities which are authorized to receive them pursuant to the provisions of law, and in addition, the entities supporting the Controller in technical support, IT, etc. Furthermore, your data are shared with Facebook Ireland Limited (detailed information below). Your personal data will be stored by the time objection is raised or when purposes of processing cease. You have the right to request access to your personal data and their rectification (correction). You also have the right to request deletion or limitation of processing, as well as objection to processing. However, this applies only in the event when further processing is not necessary for the Controller to fulfill legal requirements and there are no other overriding legal grounds for processing. You have the right to lodge a complaint against the processing of your data performed by the Controller to the President of Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl). In the event when we enter into agreement via Facebook (Messenger), you will have the right to transmit data if I have such technical possibility. Information on co-administration of data together with Facebook Ireland Limited

The Controller and Facebook Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland) are joint controllers of your personal data pursuant to Article 26 of the GDPR within the scope of data processing for statistical and advertising purposes.  Co-administration covers aggregate data analysis in order to display activity statistics of the Controller’s fan page users. The scope of responsibility of Facebook Ireland for processing of your personal data for the purposes provided:

  • having legal basis for data processing for the purposes of website’s statistics, 
  • ensuring execution of data subjects’ rights,
  • reporting breach to the supervisory authority and notifying the persons whom the breach concerned about such event,
  • ensuring appropriate technical and organizational measures in order to provide security of your data.

    Scope of the Controller’s responsibility for processing your data:

  • having legal basis for data processing for the purposes of statistics,
  • fulfilling disclosure requirements within the scope of processing purposes executed by the Controller.

Facebook Ireland will share an essential part of the attachment concerning website’s statistics to data subjects (Article 26(2) of the GDPR) via data included in the Information on website’s statistics, the access to which may be obtained from all sites. The main supervising authority within the scope of joint data processing is Irish Data Protection Committee (irrespective of the content of Article 55(2) of the GDPR, in relevant cases).
